The quickest and easiest way to reach these surf spots is by boat, crossing the stunning Gulf of Papagayo for an unforgettable session.

Located 45-minutes from pick-up, Witch’s Rock is home to a powerful, hollow beach break that delivers long, fast waves best suited for experienced surfers. The break works best 3 hours before high tide, generating clean groundswells that attract experienced surfers seeking a challenge. The beach itself stretches for kilometers and is teeming with wildlife, adding to the raw, untouched beauty of the area.

  • ½ day trips are 4 hours, and full day between 6-8 hours
  • Departure depends on tides
  • Surfers must provide experience level prior to confirming destination
  • Surfers must provide weight and height if they would like to rent boards

A one-hour boat ride from pick-up, Ollie’s Point became famous after its appearance in Endless Summer II. This long, righthand point break is one of the best in the country, offering smooth, playful waves at low to mid tide. It’s suitable for all levels in small swells but turns into a dream wave for intermediate and advanced surfers when the swell builds.

  • Boat Access: We have all necessary permits for legal and safe entry into the park.
  • Tide-Timed Sessions: Witch’s is best surfed 3 hours before high tide, while Ollie’s performs best two hours before and after low tide.  It is necessary to check on swell conditions prior to confirmation.
  • Beginner-Friendly Options: For those of you who are new to surfing we offer beginner lessons at nearby local beaches. Ask about beautiful Prieta and Iguanita beaches and learn to catch your first waves! Surf lessons at our local spots are best up to 2 hours before low-tide. Iguanita beach is seasonal from April-November.
